Maria was fidgeting with her mouth a lot during Mass this morning. I was concerned that she may have been in pain, but she was cheerful, so I just tried to keep her hands out of her mouth as much as possible.
When we came home, I gently pulled up her upper lip and noticed that her stitches were gone. But what shocked me was that her gums looked pink, pretty, and perfect. They weren't the little festering pits of leftover surgery that they were two days ago at all! I'm stunned! She has healed at a tremendous rate!
Thank you all for your prayers! I'm truly dumbfounded!
The only thing that suggests she was anywhere near a medical facility is a bruise on the top of her hand from the I.V.

WOW!! That is tremendous news!! Now, just get whoever was praying for her, to do the same for me, eh? LOL :) (BTW, I *really* appreciate your prayers!)
Awww I'm so glad she's healing well! Big hugs to you. I know I was exhausted after my kids had surgeries because I had just stressed so much before.
Isn't is just absolutely amazing how quickly children heal?
