Next week, when I get back to PA, I am going to have a knock-your-socks-off picture post.
We spent the last week with John's family in Durango, CO. This required a drive across the continental divide. If life is about the moments that take your breath away, I am set up for several lifetimes. The only thing that could have possibly topped that drive was seeing my babies at the end of the day. Maria made the drive with us and she was amazing. She was amazing in the plane as well. But I hadn't seen the boys in almost a week and seeing them just made my whole life! They clearly missed me and I was humbled at how much they needed and missed their mom.

We spent our time up there visiting the Native dwellings in Mesa Verde, checking out the natural springs, fishing (John taught Thomas and they caught dinner for us that night, which was delicious!!!), shopping, and relaxing. On our way back from Durango, we took the kids to the Sand Dunes outside of Alamosa. They loved it! There was a little creek that ran along the outside of the dunes that the kids played in for a couple of hours. Thomas and John hiked halfway up the dunes after that while Maria and Joseph continued to play in the water.
Now we're camped out at my parents' place and the kids are contentedly hanging out, making mischief, soaking in time with their cousins, and loving the attention from their grandparents.
This may be the last time I blog for the next week or so. But I promise a big picture post.
